The Walmart Heirs Give to Charity Like They Pay Their Workers: Very Little

We knew the hugely wealthy Walton family was greedy and cheap when it came to other people. You have only to look at Walmart's labor practices and global supply chain to know that. But it's shocking to see just how ungenerous they are when compared...

"None of the Waltons have signed The Giving Pledge, an initiative by Gates and Buffett to get the world’s billionaires to commit to giving away a majority of their wealth during their lifetime, or at their death. The top four givers on the Forbes list – Buffett, Gates, Bloomberg, and Ellison – have all signed the pledge. Only the Waltons and the Koch brothers have not."

Bloody scrooges!!!

Thanx Freya

Wow they are chintzy aren't they? Good to know. Now if North Americans would all just stop shopping there we might get back some variety of goods and independent stores.

It's kind of hard for me to respect someone's "philanthropy" when they only give so they can get a bigger tax break.

I don't shop at Walmart and never will. Disgusting and despicable people who own that business.

I see a guillotine in their future....maybe someone will invent time travel and we can send them back to France?
