Koalas Could Be Extinct in NSW as Early as 2050. We Can't Let This Happen.

Koalas are losing their homes and their lives to excessive tree-clearing. We need to protect the homes of koalas before they're gone forever. It's up to us to ensure future generations get to see these iconic Australian animals in the wild.

We have an abundance of Koalas in South Australia, which we protect diligently!!
Something must be done in the eastern states about their insane urban sprawl!

Thank you for standing up for Koalas in NSW.

We have a dozen koala sanctuaries in NSW and a large functioning koala hospital.Foreigners don't seem to realize how much we care for them.I strongly oppose excessive land clearing and have expresed my opposition to our state member, but some needs to be done to allow transit through dense areas of bushland to fight our raging bushfires that kill thousands of koalas.who are too slow to escape the flames.

Signed. Under the current Berejiklian government a whopping 14 football fields of koala habitat are bulldozed each day. The rate of tree clearing has tripled in the state's north since the axing of the NSW Native Vegetation Act in August 2017. While this government proclaims an urgency to saving the koala the reality is the opposite. So many petitions have been signed which has made no difference. Let's hope that this one being so close to the State election will make the difference. Thanks Freya.
