Canadian consumer prices came in largely as expected for July as lower gasoline prices and more comparable sale-tax rates to a year earlier helped bring the inflation rate down.

Traditionally inflation has been controlled by the use of interest rates, this currently isn't possible. Inflation is destructive and seeing it decrease, even in only a handful of countries, is encouraging. Having said this I strongly suspect that things will get worse before they get better!

Bull! The wealthy control when there will be "inflation" or "deflation", and they do so at their collective will!

Know no one will like this but we need even higher gas taxes and more government incentives to go alternative and now not down the road.
