Thanks so much for posting this, BarbCat. My brother and I grew up in a military family, and this brought back some very touching memories. Hope Skylar and Sgt. Johnson have a wonderful nine days together, and many, many more in the future. I'm going to go get a Kleenex now...

God I am crying like a baby! The only thing is I hate the war...if her dad was not in it, she would be able to see him alot more than just for 9 days every other year or so. But truly a great surprise from the dad and reaction from his daughter. I am so happy for them. Thanks Barbcat.

Good job of bringing the awareness of those of us who have made the ultimate commitment of citizens by joining the military, up front and close to home.

It is a delicate touching period.
How happy this daughter is with the return of her Dad ... It is a happy moment too.
All mothers, sisters, daughters ..etc. need to pray that thier men are back safe...and must stand up raising thier voice NO MORE WARS our men are so valuable and precious to us we need them........
Enough WARS we need the money for our people we need it .
