I' remain skeptical. This is China we're talking about---the land of animal horrors I need proof to believe anything coming outta this country. Thanks

But we are speaking about the country that is the main responsible for the massacre of so many animals in danger of extinction because their body parts are used in what they call traditional medicine???? But what is this? A joke????

I hope they are serious but they condone killing so many animals brutally over there, don't trust much of what they say anymore.Maybe it's an answer to many prayers. but hope it stops any and all abuse.Thank you Barb,I now am hopeful for them:) ((hugs)) to you Barb..xoxo

well its a step in the right direction but i am sceptical till i see some proof of this people can say anything
i just wish they would stop the cruelty to the moon bears, using the animals bones and many other things
China has so much cruelty to animals Its hard to find good words for them

It's positive news, but doesn't guarantee anything. It only applies to some, not all, cosmetic products and it just means that mandatory animal testing is not required. Doesn't necessarily mean those companies will stop using animal testing, but I would hope they would. At least American companies that claim to be cruelty-free, but then test on animals in China to sell their products there will now switch to being 100% cruelty-free.
