Julian Lennon is his father's duplicate; not only in looks but his love of the earth and everything natural.

Give Back to Mother Earth by Julian Lennon for Earth Day is a gentle yet strong message!
We planted a white pine sapling several years ago in Goldstream Park in Victoria, B.C. and released baby salmon into the river. I remember how exhilarating the feeling was, and how our sense of gratitude to our Mother Earth was renewed in the most beautiful way.
Individually and collectively we all can and have something special to share, healing our Mother Earth is the message so many need to hear, to be inspired to want to do something. Keeping our beaches and shorelines clear of plastic is critical to protect marine life is just one of so many things we can do.
I am thankful for all my friends here at Care2 for your inspiration, and to you dear Barb, for your ongoing friendship and inspiration. Your Light is truly a blessing in our world! Peace be with you all!

Thanks, Barb. I went to a native plant nursery yesterday (Earth Day) and bought some plants for the pollinators, birds, and butterflies. I planted them yesterday afternoon.

I didn't get to plant anything on Earth Day yesterday as I had church, a wedding to go to and my own Earth Day anniversary. However, I'm on the Green Sanctuary committee at our church and I was notified that someone had donated an Antelope Horn Milkweed plant for our wildlife habitat garden. I was asked to plant it while I was at the wedding and I went ahead and got it in the ground this afternoon. I check on things over there Sundays after church and again mid-week so I'll be sure to keep an eye on it and hope that it does well for the Monarchs and bees.

Nice. Very nice. A reminder we all need in this increasingly predatory (but ever so civilized) culture we live in ...

An inspiring message, shared. I'll plant something local and organic, either a tree or plants for pollinators, for each future Earth Day. Thank you, Barb!

Gee, I didn't comment on Earth Day. This was lovely and I did plant a tree and a few pollinator flowers.
Thanks Barb!
