The other day we were marveling at the way incoming Republican Governors in Wisconsin, Ohio, and Florida (as well as New Jersey) are trying to kill railroad projects. Now, lefty entrepreneur Richard Branson may be picking up the pieces....

China has fast rail and most of Europe also. Where are the Republicans in this. Why are they against it. We are definitely falling behind because big oil dictates to them. We need fast rail and I for one want to see it begin now. Lets cut the military instead. Are you aware that 59% of the discretionary budget and that doesn't account for overruns, including $300 billion about what Congress authorized for various weapons in the last five years. This is way out of line. I hope Richard Branson picks up the pieces and he will because he knows it is the right thing to do. Get the cars off the highways One person in a big SUV going to work in every major city in this country. We need to wake up.
