Cutting off the snarled riser pipe in order to install a containment cap significantly increased the flow of oil and gas -- possibly by more barrels per day than the cap is actually capturing.

it'll be interesting to see who comes up with a successful plan to recover from this disaster, and when that plan may actually begin

Just wanted to thank you BP, our beautiful coast line is ruined and the wildlife and our ins=dustry is ruined because of you greed, may the same thing happen to your greedy company. I Live in GULF SHORES Al., what was home to a wonderful life for all, now ruined.

BP can throw all of the money in the world at this 'spill'; it won't bring the dead animals back to life or restore the environment to what it once was...

It thought it looked like it was spewing more oil than before. The relief well which will take months may not even be enough to offset the pressure. The last time this happened it took 11 relief wells. i feel for everyone in this. Saying it is lie a giant death is not enough. It just seems like the end of the world for us.

I think BP should pay off the federal deficit and then we can talk about if it has truly paid for damage that it caused.

And they are still failing at what they are trying to do. Lose all stock margins. Lose all profits. CLEAN IT UP!
