The interview, Assad's first with an American television network in nearly two years, will air on PBS's "Charlie Rose" show on Monday, the same day that President Obama sits down with six television networks for recorded interviews.

Noted. Interesting....thanks, Carrie. I understand that in previous years, many high-ranking Americans were proud to shake hands with Assad....such has been the case with so many Middle Eastern leaders. Certainly more here than meets the eye.....

obama is using everything he has to get us to go to war. assad might as well join the fun,
i still don't see how assad is any worse than the terrorists that are trying to over throw him.
sorry obama you can't have my vote for your war. let the arab league work it out.

Lately I have a problem believing anything about Assad. He needs to start doing the work to save his countrymen, women and children.

Somebody help me.. When I saw parts of that interview Assad was speaking in his language with an American interpretor. My question is can we trust that.. Then I saw another and Assad was speaking English but it was edited.
I was looking on this article for a video to listen to this man Assad.. There is. none.. Just a picture of the interview.

In other places of news; before the August 21 chemical attack America was already surrounding Syria with every warhip available.
Then after the fact' cited chemical weapons use and sending ships that were already sitting there.
How more and more stuff comes out. Doesn't make me proud.
wonder how Syrians are feeling about their.. loved ones back home..?

All those warships.. I feel for us all.... How in the heck did we get to this point?
