'I'M 100% Certain We Won't Receive Justice in This Racist Court': Abu Khdeir Family Awaits Justice That Will Likely Never Come

Since the horrific murder of their son, Israel has waged a campaign of intimidation and harassment as punishment for the damage to Israel's image abroad resulting from international coverage of their son's brutal murder.

You're not likely to find genuine true justice in any court in any land, when financial crime is treated with more seriousness and gravity than human crime.

Israel forgot the meaning of justice a long time ago.

Such a wonderful ally the US has - NOT! I get so tired being told that as a Christian I must always support Israel. No, I do not have to support wanton disregard for truth, honor and justice. The leaders of Israel are mostly Jewish by birth but not by belief. An Israeli journalist wrote a book I read several years ago (Sorry have forgotten the title) stating that not only were most of the nation's leaders atheists but many of them should be in jail for a variety of white-collar crimes - fraud, embezzlement, perjury and so on. So ben David and his henchmen will probably get off with a slap on the wrist.

Even after reading so many reports on how Israel is treating Palestinians, the sheer audacity of the Israeli government and administration still baffles me. They know that the Abu Khdeir family has the eye of the world press and yet they are treated like they were the murderers in stead of the family of the young victim. The are openly harassed, beaten up, intimidated and now played by the court. Reports of this abuse are appearing in media all over the world. Is this just arrogance or unmitigated stupidity? Whatever it is, it seems to have become the norm.

This is the most appalling series of events - and even the journalists reporting on things as they unfold have been harassed and intimidated - they might also be blinded if the laser pointers are badly adjusted which the police shone into the protestors and journalists eyes....

We must all protest against this violence against victims wherever and whenever it occurs -otherwise it will, as Lona remarks, become the norm - and justice will have died.

Noted with complete disgust. Thanks, Carrie. Am thinking that the Israeli goverment and a lot of their IDF henchmen have and are still committing crimes against humanity. Their behavior is appalling! Mind, our own country is equally guilty, both home and abroad; Ferguson is only the latest, well-documented instance of jack-booted thuggery. The targetting of journalists is especially egregious in nations calling themselves "democracies!" What's next? Public beheadings?
