When will enough Israelis wake up to the fact that their sense of insecurity is closely linked to their oppressive policies and their expansionism? As Rivlin says - sick ...

What does anyone with insecurity and megalomania problems do; sack people whose views and opinions don't correspond with theirs.

Thanks, Carrie for en excellent opinion piece on the current status of Israel's political crisis. No laughing matter if the author ends with: "These elections may simply be a prelude to a deeper political crisis."
Netanyahu obviously took a gamble by sending this parliament home, and he would not have done so if he had not thought there was a reasonable chance of forming a new coalition government even more to the right than this one, and with him as leader. Not everyone is convinced that the latter will be the case, a new right wing coalition might well be consolidated by a new Prime Minister. We'll have to wait and see, just as Netanyahu has to now that he has played his hand.

Thanks Carrie for the link to the very insightful article by Mr. Sachs and great video. We can only hope Mr. Netanyahu is vulnerable and is thrown out of office in the upcoming election.

Bibi is the elephant in the room but I'm afraid the Israeli's doesn't mind.
