Noted. Well, it was good that Press mentioned the death penalty; right-wing media always goes for the jugular first, so it's good to take a page from their playbook. But, these Senators should absolutely not be allowed to get away with this. If they do, I can only imagine how bad things will be in the future. They've gone from pushing the limit to now not even seeing the limit in their rearview mirror---and this should not be tolerated.

There does seem that there is a vacancy for 47 Republican senators, I wonder if any of them will take one for the team? The stupidity of the current crop of Republicans is well known, the last presidential election was a prime example of dumb and dumber but this takes the biscuit. How anyone could think that undermining talks in such a bratty, condescending and ignorant manner could work should just be castrated for the sake of the species as nothing that dumb should be allowed to exist under all known laws and particularly the second law of thermodynamics.

My biggest disappointment with President Obama (other than Gitmo and not going after the torturers) is that he hasn't rounded up a bunch of these weasels and charged them under numerous sections of the "Patriot" act and thrown their asses in jail, at least separate cells or isolation.

I'm against the death penalty in any shape or form, but I can certainly understand the sentiment. If America wants to remain in a lead role on the world stage, it has to react in some way to this letter, but a hanging party would be overdoing it a tad too.

I think me too. . . if you only imprisoned abusers, rapists and murderers, I reckon that alone would reduce prison populations to the most heinous and dangerous criminals.

The Red State posted an article about The Logan Act, titled, “The ‘Logan Act’ is the Talking Point of Hacks and Morons.”

At which point I wanted to write, “Leaving aside the fact that YOU’RE talking about the Logan Act (read your title again!), I notice, once again, that you right-wingers can’t just make a point: You have to resort to name-calling, which, also again, leads me to the conclusion that you HAVE no point.

Also, may I remind you of the hissy fits you people threw when one of the Dixie Chicks expressed an opinion about George W. Bush’s intelligence (or lack thereof)? CD burning parties, as I recall—as if the First Amendment only counts when everyone agrees with you.

I won’t call you ‘hypocrites’ because that, too, can be considered name-calling. But . . . !”

I passed up posting this comment, because it wouldn’t do any good. But it’s us ‘libtards’ are the ones who won’t listen!

Thus ends today’s rant. Thank you for your patience.

Green star to Lona Goudswaard..

nobody that is in the pockets of the .1% is gonna ever face the music for anything they do- not even a slap on the wrist. in fact, they will be rewarded for their perfidy to the 99%. and people still vote for these goons. shakes head in wonderment.

yeah, like the democrats aren't a bunch of backstabbing traitors too. they're all scum. and hopefully hillary will treat them as such. this is just a bunch of nitwits following a zionist. and if you follow the zionist you'll bump into everything and fall down a cliff somewhere. the path of the obvious is always in opposite direction of where the zionist is going. stick to that plan and you'll be okay. they didn't stick to the plan. they're bumping into walls now, but the cliff is around the corner.

israel has to muzzle bibi. they have to cloak zionism. hillary is pro israeli anti-zionist. and her husband wrote the book on anti-zionism. if israel plants herzog in bibi's seat just the name of his party will cost israel half of jerusalem. if they leave bibi in settlements will have to come down. this is perfect for the zionist behind the mask. if he doesn't win now he'll be able to say i told you so. the elders of the mossad are sending the citizens of israel a message. they do well to listen. the path they're on leads to f-22's.

They publicized an aspect of U.S. law which is already public record and available online. It's not like they struck a deal with a well-established rival for assistance in a election-campaign in exchange for more favorable foreign policy, like Ted Kennedy, or went traveling to war-zones while making promises about them contrary to the policy of the administration of the time like Obama in 2008.

Calling this treason is a can of worms neither party wishes to open. That's why whatever bloggers say, nothing is likely to come of it, except maybe straight-up partisan politicking as usual.
