Apparently in the last 20 years it never crossed delusional Oval Office coveter / genius extraordinaire Senator Ted Cruz's mind that maybe, just maybe, might come in handy someday.

Hysterically, someone else did. Though I wouldn't blame them for selling, here's hoping the current owner of maintains ownership and puts the website to good use. Whoever it is is off to a good start already. May the hilarity ensue.

P.S. After 11 years of lurking this is my very first diary : )

3:25 AM PT: TParrish posed an interesting question down thread:

"What domain should Ted Cruz register instead?"

LOL, yeah I saw that earlier- too cool, what a sicko he is. Not to forget Andy's take on him, too good not to share as well!

A disturbed Canadian man wants to try to get into the White House, according to reports.

The man, who was born in Calgary before drifting to Texas, has been spotted in Washington, D.C. in recent years exhibiting erratic behavior, sources said.

In 2013, he gained entry to the United States Senate and was heard quoting incoherently from a children’s book before he was finally subdued.

More recently, he was heard ranting about a plan to dismantle large components of the federal government, such as the Internal Revenue Service and the nation’s health-care program.

Despite a record of such bizarre episodes and unhinged utterances, observers expressed little concern about his plans to get into the White House, calling them “delusional.”

Be sure to go to the site, just reading the text alone won't do to get the joke! This is his website which he won't ever get now as some smart joker was faster! .-)

Ladies and gentlemen, start your engine. Choose your least favorite politician who might run for president and buy the domain name if it hasn't already been purchased. This is just Capitalism afterall ^_-.

The fellow who owns the site is a progressive Arizona lawyer whose name happens to be - wait for it - Ted Cruz - which is nice because it makes his ownership lawsuit-proof. "Our" Ted apparently did manage to get, and it looks like no one owns tedcruz, net. I didn't look at

Ted Cruz is rapidly overtaking George W. Bush as the Internet monkey. . .

This does not surprise me; Cruz IS an IDIOT!

Um, let's be spot on...He COULD use and be HONEST with "CruzHatesTheUSA"; the government shut down is proof of that...for ONE example.

$arah PAYLin is whispering in his ear..."Ted, you do not have a chance in HELL of winning the Presidency
BUT you CAN make a killing from your followers...DO this and that...the money will flow in and your will be RICH!"
"Oh, and by the way, SCREW the poor and the middle class!"

One scary X-tian. You know they're idiots when they promise a return to the Constitution while they inject church into state.

I get the impression that there is a sitcom just waiting to come out of this something like Senator Ted, with all his trials and tribulations as he tries to work out the Internet as he has proved he clearly doesn't understand it but I do understand that is available as it does sum up Senator Cruz pretty well, of course there is the issue of his birth certificate but wait he was born in Canada does that trump being born in Hawaii. Still I suppose it has to do with Canada deporting it's most annoying douche bags out of the country a bit like Justin Bieber, you know the type you would feed to a great white shark for fun, though I think if I did feed Cruz to a great white shark ... it might just spit him out.

What a blunder. I hope that the person who has procured doesn't sell it to him and keeps it a site supporting Obama's Immigration policy. Buying it for this purpose, now that was some smart thinking.

Lona, FYI- that error has been explained and cleared up above by Joanne Dixon. One lucky lawyer there and smart nevertheless!

" I didn't look at"

No need, Joanne. That would be a complete oxymoron. But he will make for plenty of fun while he is still in the race, even if only technically, as I have no doubt he will continue speaking and the depth of his lunacy will be clear to everyone.

So, I'm going with the "first in, first out" rule that I just made up. Cruz will be beat by Bush unfortunately for us all. Although, I can't see exactly who the GOP will pick, it does seem that Bush is raking in the dough right now. Maybe Cruz is just going to take all the flak and just do what Laura H. mentioned in her above comment--re:Palin.

Oh, I can't wait for Saturday Night Live to get hold of this! And Bill Maher! Though Bill had a few things to say about him last Friday, I bet this Friday will be a hoot! With the blunder in his site naming and the way he announced he was running were comedic GOLD!
I can't, for the life of me, figure out why someone born in ANOTHER COUNTRY even try to run for president in the US!! That would be like Bibi running for president! And he made a better speech for running when he made his crappy speech at Congress! It would make more sense for Bibi to run than Ted! I wouldn't have either of them over for a goat roping! They both need to step out of politics and leave it to the actual REAL Americans!
