GOP members are worried about what Pope Francis will say in his speech to Congress, and it's great.

Anything that makes TP (empty) heads explode can't be a bad thing! Thanks, Carrie.

The Tea Party members are among those who "...can't handle the truth!"
Their delusional positions on human values, or their ideas that human values have no place in government, ought to be told to go fly a kite, and i think that this Pope will do it!

Speaking of the Tea Party, brings to mind one particular clown, named Rand Paul, named after the dragon queen of individualism, by his imbecile, delusional father.
I just recently came across a quote that I saved regarding the Queen's philosophy of "the Individual Ubber Alles:"

Ludwig Feuerbach-
“The individual human being by himself does not contain the essence of man within himself, either as a moral or as a thinking being. The essence of man is contained only in the community, in the unity of man with his fellow man-a unity which, however, rests only on the reality of the distinctness of I and Thou.”
From “The Worlds of Existentialism,” by Maurice Friedman

This Pope is a maverick so the teabaggers are rightly worried.

The more I learn about the Pope, the more I admire him. I hope he does address congress. It will be very, very interesting.

Most of the GOP congress are KKK minus the white sheets. They hate blacks, jews and catholics.
I do think the Pope is well aware of the psychopathic nature of that party----psychopaths come in a range of flavors and these are manipulative and lack empathy minus of conscience.
Their voting records tell a story.
voted against the pay gap for women -against Violence Against Women Act ---opposes raising the minimum wage---voted against the veteran's bill 7 times --against the student loan refinancing, against immigration bill , against Farm bill, against ACA --but supports privatizing medicare so wall street can profit more----- No to a climate tax because the Koch's say NO new taxes----- and they all support raising the retirement ages to 70 with reduced benefits and and the money they save will pay for more
tax breaks for the wealthiest.

Noted. Thanks, Carrie.
I look forward to the teabagger heads exploding....always makes me laugh.

I watched last night's episode of "Star Talk" with Neil deGrasse Tyson; his guests were a Jesuit priest and Richard Dawkins. The Jesuit explained that his was the "science" order of the Catholic church. There were no heated arguments, and it was a pleasure to watch. (The Pope is the 1st Jesuit pope).

So, this priest explained how the Catholic church believes in science---NOT the silly stories of the Earth being 6000 years old. Those are views held mostly by Evangelicals and "Dominionist" Xtians....and he stated that they were a VERY small group of people.
They simply have very loud voices that a slanted media continues to report on them as if they matter. So, that leads me to wonder about the voting machine and who is counting the votes......

It's nice to have a truly religious Pope for a change. So tired of the political Popes.

I like this Pope as well, and I'm not Catholic. . .

The Grand Old Party needs a spring clean.

well there is usually only one thing I dislike more than republicians and that's religion , but I think in this case i'll back the Pope .he's a little confusing in his ideas at times but for the most part he's bang on . go go Paul and shake the crap outta the G(greasy)O(overbearing)P(pinheads) you do know that there are other words I could have and would have preferred to use in( brackets) , but have to keep it clean ya know .
