Has Netanyahu's Revisionism Ended the Use of the Holocaust as Enabler of Israeli Injustice Toward Palestinians?

Is Netanyahu's use of the Holocaust to further incite his political constituency against Palestinians what we should focus on? Or is it the fact that many of those who condemn Netanyahu for his Holocaust blunder are also enablers of the destruction ...

From the article: 'Rather than the historical details of Holocaust history, how the Holocaust functions in relation to Palestine is the issue at hand.'
EXACTLY!
Nazism is not a race - it's a state of mind. In this context: we can't keep on thinking that people are 'awesome/awful' by DEFAULT...!
Thank you for posting!

I doubt it
'
Satanyahu will be 'revising'/distorting and reshuffling' the facts, as he goes along - as always, and probably will, unless he gets a swift, kick in the derriere, and booted out.
Even then...

Thanks, Carrie.

A good article -
But I wonder whether the truth isn't slightly different ...
This isn't the first time BN has pulled this line - although not as "loudly" before .....
And the right-wingers, extremists & hasbara mouthpieces do tend to try to paint all Palestinians as though Al-Husseini spoke for all when he went to try to get support from Hitler/ the Nazis, when he saw the British heading towards a policy of giving a large chunk of Palestine to be turned into a Jewish homeland .... and he saw the attitude of many recent arrivals who treated their Arab Palestinian neighbours as though they shouldn't even be there .....

But a question often asked is:
How can a people who suffered as did the Jews under the Nazis treat the Palestinians in a very similar way? It wasn't the Palestinians who caused all the suffering under the Holocaust - it was Europeans - yet the Palestinians have paid, and are paying, the price.

IF BN and the hasbara mouthpieces could only pin the blame for the Holocaust on ONE Palestinian ... then by extension on ALL Palestinians .... Those (including many Jews) who ask this question would stop asking it ....
IF this lie could be repeated often enough & loud enough for people to start to believe it ...

THEN it would become "just" to abuse and oppress those who caused the Holocaust .... Providing enough people swallow the lie ...

But perhaps BN misjudged the time and place ..... He's trying to wriggle out of the lie now ....

He (and the hasbara jihadis) will doubtless try again ... to wear down truth and present yet another lie as "Israeli truth" ... the way quite a bit of history has been rewritten for Israeli textbooks & media

Carrie - so great to see you back again!! Thanks

Bibi lost all credibility a long time ago.

Good to see you back Carrie.

Yes, good to see you back, Carrie.

Nazism is likened to Capitalism, in which people pursue an abstract goal at the expense of their sensitivity, conscience and humanity.

Noted. Thanks for posting, Carrie.

From article: "After all, it isn't the Holocaust that is displacing and murdering Palestinians today. It's apartheid."

I thought Netanyahu went way too far when he addressed our Congress some months back. How could I ever imagine he'd go even further. The finger pointing he does at others, should be pointed at himself. Isn't there someone close to him to tell him 'enough is enough?' Well, I guess it's a long drop to the bottom.

Certain politicians are inflicted with "foot & mouth disease".
