Tell the EPA to Reject the Pesticide That's Killing Bees ACTION By Tuesday

It is outrageous that the E.P.A. is putting a vital species, the livelihoods of farmers and beekeepers, and our very food supply at risk just so Bayer can peddle its pesticide.

Done Nancy! Thank you for posting. Bees are such an important part of our ecosystem, that not protecting them menas death. I remember reading that life can go on without any species except insects, they're the only ones that at the end, they're the ones that really matter, life depends on them.

Personally, I have not used a Bayer product in over 30 years. This company was allowed to come into the US from Germany after WWII. They were originally called Bavarian Pharmaceuticals. They supplied Hitler with his own personal drugs, as well as Dr. Mengele for his sick experiments on humans.
Nothing this company does surprises me.

This is nothing to fool around with or be taken lightly. Bees are EXTREMELY important for worldwide food production. They are the most important pollinators we have. For BAYER to produce this chemical is immoral.

Fran F (116)
Sunday February 19, 2012, 2:09 pm
BAYER is nothing short of a criminal operation with no concern for what they do to the world's food supply, much less the suffering and death of an essential and beautiful species! Noted and already signed. Thanks, Nancy.

More @#*^^y poisons released in our environment is unnecessary. Short lived natural agents (nicotine laced insecticidal soap, for example) and biocontrols like predatory insects should be parts of a sustainable agriculture model that supports natural components including fertilising insects and weed-eating animals.

When you think here in California commercial crops such as almonds, peaches, soybeans, apples, pears, cherries, raspberries, blackberries, cranberries, watermelons, cantaloupes, cucumbers and strawberries all pollinated almost exclusively by bees. While other insects can be used in many instances other are not as prolific and will not visit the plants near them at all.

Jim P (3247)
Monday February 20, 2012, 12:20 pm
Without the bees to help pollinate plants, food production would come to a standstill in under 5 years.

And the human race becomes extinct shortly after that.

Hmmmmm... Might not be a bad idea that humans become extinct...

Ty, Nancy.

S&N. Bees are so important to our environment. The pesticides putting them at danger should be strictly controlled or banned. Also, what are these pesticides doing to other good insects or people that handle them? It can't be good. Thanks Nancy.
