Today is a holiday, but will try tomorrow. Noted. Thanks, Nancy. I have supported Manning ever since I read the chat logs between him and Adrian Lamo.

Actually seeing him go to prison will be so good. He is guilty. There is no doubt. I saw the videos so I am not on his side. If he did not want to do his job he could have requested a transfer.

Sorry, but I did not serve 10 years in the Marines so that my government could crucify an honest man who had the courage to do what every Nazi soldier should have done and didn't. Concealing war crimes is no one's "job."

It's upsetting that in the 21st Century we need whistleblowers to tell us the truth of what is going on in OUR military, in OUR country. Then when the TRUTH is found out, those same whistleblowers are to punished for telling us, The People, what we should have been told by OUR governement. It's sad that now the law is being broken AGAIN by the very same military in order to sweep the TRUTH under the carpet. This feels more like We, The Military.

Let's Remind Maj. General Buchanan:

that President Obama has unlawfully influenced the trial with his declaration of Bradley Manning's guilt.

that the media has been continually blocked from transcripts and documents related to the trial and that it has only been through the efforts of Bradley Manning's supporters that any transcripts exist.

that under the UCMJ [Universal Code of Military Justice, mandatory Military Law] - a soldier has the right to a speedy trial and that it was unconscionable to wait 3 years before starting the court martial.

that absolutely no one was harmed by the release of documents that exposed war crimes, unnecessary secrecy and disturbing foreign policy.

that Bradley Manning is a hero who did the right thing when he revealed truth about wars that had been based on lies.

WE NEED *MORE* WHISTLEBLOWERS - and we need to HONOR them, NOT jail them!

How ELSE can evil-doing AT HIGH LEVELS be revealed and, one hopes, stopped and prosecuted and punished?????

Think about THAT, those of you who want to condemn our courageous Whistleblowers out-of-hand.....
