I have a better idea than signing this petition that won't stop palm oil production. How about boycotting all companies whose products use palm oil? That's what I did.

Smart Balance Light with Flaxseed Oil now lists in the ingredients "Palm Fruit". Isn't that the fruit from which the palm oil comes?

I tried looking up on the internet but it is very confusing...palm oil, coconut oil palm fruit.

I guess I'd better stick with olive oil. lol

If the palm oil does come from palm fruit, maybe they're engaging in the money making power of deceit?

It also may mean that we are being a real problem to the rich folk.

Zee, this link might give you some answers, though it does come from a company that uses palm oil, though not in areas that would endanger orangutan such as South America if you are to believe them.
I just avoid snything w/the word "palm" anything in it.

It's not only about to stop the slavery in palm oil. It's also really important not to buy products which contain palm oil. Of course, this Is not easy, but it's worth to try to get out of the palm oil madness!

Palm oil kills: people, animals and nature!
