Thirteen farmers here in Ky just defeated the pipeline crossing their property. The company had tried "eminent domain" after the owners refused, but fortunately, an honest judge presided.

Nobody wants the damned pipeline anyway. I hope the entire company goes under. They need to clean up all their environmental disasters they've caused before they build anymore pipelines.

Pipeline workers are being sued near here for trespassing on posted private property to do a survey. And there are "Say NO to the pipelines" signs in yards all over the city, county/counties, and towns in this area...3 pipelines proposed to come through near here. People are fighting it with all they've got.

82% of Fossil Fuel Reserves must be LEFT IN THE GROUND - 82%! -
if we are to avert Climate CATASTROPHE due to Global Warming.
NO MORE drilling, coal mining, fracking,
and transporting, leaking and spilling and exploding,
and BURNING and spewing into the Atmosphere.
NO MORE exploration for new sources!

This should be Environmentalists' MANTRA:
Leave the Oil in the Soil
the Coal in the Hole
the TarSands in the Land.
Eliminate ALL use and extraction of Dirty Fossil Fuels for Energy, NOW! ASAP

DIVESTMENT is another things that is stopping or very much slowing down Fossil Fuel Extraction and "Development". All these things go together. Divestment by Universities, Churches, Unions, Cities, and Private Citizens. A huge Movement INTERNATIONALLY.
