There's just NO END is there? There is absolutely NO ACCOUNTABILITY anywhere anymore. Anyone can say anything and make you pay, without any proof whatsoever. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? If they ruined my credit, I would sue them for damages if I had to bring the case myself.

Is this the way that Bush is intending to make up some of the money that he 'borrowed' from the coffers that he shouldn't have touched in the first place?
This is simply such a disgrace for the men and women who went and fought for our country. What a welcome home.

Politics once again rears its ugly head. The Gov`t(Doesn,t matter what country)in this way ,as in past, has shown us how it cares about its service men and women.Fairly disrespectfully,at least they should be acknowledged to of what they supposedly owe for.Far as i and many are concerned they owe nothing as they served with their lives on the line and that my friend has no price tag.

The heartless and soul-less nature of this luciferian government never ceases to disgust me. What I find very frightening is that one of this s**t really surprises me anymore. Have I become that callous and numbed to the actions of the goverment? Because nothing they do surprises me anymore.

I really wish I had double checked my spelling and caps- but this is the letter I sent our Senator Feinstein. Her site address is at the bottom- for you CA. residents and others.
--Dear Ms Feistein- I have finally had to say something directly to you regarding this disgrace and how it is affecting your own constituents. Like me. You have promoted Ms. Clinton. My acceptance of your recommendation will be based on your personal records i will seek out concerning not only the Iraq civil war - but these issues concerning our veterans. I lived through Vietnam- I lost- I buried friends and classmates. I will not just swallow this time . I purposely will advocate against Ms. Clinton- in every venue of my life- because if she may just prove to be as ineffectual- as other women in government- in heading various government agencies and being as cruel as their male predessesors. We don't want the first female president women being as ineffectual or compliant, so quick to want to join the party(ing). Do not use my femine gender to access my mind- anymore. Do something. or just retire and let someone else at least try.

i agree with the above comments, and bravo Lee for sending a ltr to the senator!! that a veteran can get charged $$ even tho' he/she is discharged is pure bogus BS by the government. the medical care for these heroes coming back from war is crap....THEN sending DISABLED vets back to iraq, w/no check (mind you).... and now this?????!!! going to the state senator/legislator/representatives may help, or a letter stating the fact to the daily newspaper may also help...the more people that know about this, the better. this is really sad though, i feel for our veterans of this war.....;-) thankx jakki 4 this post. noted and passed on!

Thank you for the kudos. I've been learning by reading various blogs and news info on Care2.that there is a 'legal' way for our elected officials to act to stop the usurping of our Constitution. That, to me, is a place of their sworn accountability and responsibility. Upholding our Constitution is part of the oath. They may skate on campaign promises- but they took an oath and swore to God to do it. With their lives. I can stand there with complete confidence. Just as if Mr. George Washington was looking them in the eye too. What is happening in my state- in all the cities around me- is a preventable tragedy. I know this is happening where you are also. I really appreciate all the research each one of you does. It's awesome. And Thank you again for doing so much. And being people who are willing to speak the truth and not ignore it from fear. Peace In- Lee

[No, I KNOW IT'S NOT FUNNY!] Makes me want to PUKE.

The only reason there ISN'T a Draft, is, that then there really WOULD be

However, there IS certainly a POVERTY DRAFT.
A DELIBERATE lack of job opportunities for poor young people.
{And the former Middle Class is now RAPIDLY becoming "the Poor".}

Also, the Army's "Stop-Loss" program and CONSTANT RE-DEPLOYMENTS
function as an INVOLUNTARY DRAFT.
Troops should REFUSE TO DEPLOY. What have they now to lose?
That supposed "Money for College" they were promised by recruiters
CONSIDERING MILITARY SERVICE. It just ain't gonna be worth it.

Let the Young Republicans go fight the wars.
They WON'T -- so, there will be almost NOBODY to fight, then!!!

In the past year I have found some many things on the net that were about our Gov. It made me scared and sick to my stomach. It's our Gov. they are supposed to help us and protect us, not hurt us. I feel so bad for ALL those that have inlisted to protect OUR country and OUR gov. and then get treated like shit when the have come home. Were is the thankyou? Were is the gratitude? Here are your bills and fuck off, thats all the gov. says when you come home. Anyone thinking of joining the military, run and hide.
