Keep in mind that this was happening while Dubya was 'in charge'.

Besides, it hasn't really been that good since 1990.

For what it's worth, David Corn (Mother Jones) Tweets: "Turns out that porn was provided free to SEC by Goldman Sachs."

Point well taken Maurene T. Now, does anyone want to discuss how the "Federal Reserve", which is NOT Federal, nor a Reserve,(everyone do your due diligence on this one), is also "screwing" us. They set the interest rates etc., and are looked upon as Gods, but they are a private corporation, NOT a part of the Federal Govt., and yet is now called "The FED" by almost every talking head on every channel in America. That is misleading to most citizens. They have never been audited, and heaven only knows what monkey business THEY are up to....well there are books one can read on the subject. It is a kind of free-falling sensation--nothing under your feet--no stability--not what you think, you know? Bad stuff: Goldman Sachs, now this info. on the SEC. The info. on the Federal Reserve has been around a long time, but nobody in the mainstream media will touch it---afraid to lose their jobs may be one reason. Where are you Michael Moore?

Thanks for all your comments. Bethany, the "Fed" has been a pet peeve to me ever since I found out it's just some private bankers a few yrs. ago. I know we are all SICK of being ripped off and lied to!

Where are those 'tall men, suncrowned who live above the fog - in public duty and private thinking' - sorry I must be thinking of times long gone.....perhaps on another planet? Did they ever exist? I would like to think so.
