Private companies are getting rich probing your personal information for the government. Call it Digital Blackwater.

That more and more of our governmental functions are being "farmed out" to private companies is far more worrisome to me than most of the this story. Either a company is in private business for themselves or they are not, if they are, than why are our taxpayer dollars supporting private companies. It's not just in the cyber business but in all aspects of government. People complain that government can not do anything right, government is more efficient and proven far more competent than these leeches that are draining taxes and giving lousy service in return.

What private data? We do not have any privacy anymore.

Why?....In a word.....GREED.

Think Blackwater (Xe), think KBR....think....Halliburton. Need I go on? Thought not.

What would they do if.....we ALL decided en masse to go dark? Bet that would put a big ol' channel-loc wrench into the system...... for a little while anyway.

You want to make a buck? Our fascist government will share our private information with any crooked corporation that wants it.

Thanks for posting, Judy. This is information that everyone should know. Our taxes fund these incredibly intrusive spy programs. The revolving door and group of people (mostly men) involved within it have protected themselves with laws that our members of Congress have to make an appt. to even read! Is this the mark of an Empire? A fascist Empire? Does that Empire end with a bang or a whimper?

They will never learn. To get outside contractors involved isn't a smart plan. What proof do they have that all of the information these people are looking through is being kept confidential? Thanks Kit
