Savitri Rai winces as she recounts how police beat her when she protested against groundwater extraction at a Coca-Cola Co. plant near her farm in India. A decade later, she said her water supplies keep dwindling.

Lol, Kathleen. Water is going to become more and more a big problem in the years to come. I wish people would make more changes with this future in mind.

Coca-Cola has a product portfolio of more than 3,500 beverages (and 500 brands), spanning from sodas to energy drinks to soy-based drinks. Try avoiding their products - first you have to find out which companies they have bought out.

Water will be more and more of a huge problem in time, sorry to say. We stopped drinking Coke and all soda years ago. Major attitude changes and realization needs to happen and the sooner the better. This is not an easy fix. Thanks so much Judy!!!~~~

I think sales of Coke along with other sodas are down somewhat. They are without value, and a terrible waste of water. I avoid the stuff too.
