MSF are calling for the US and the Obama administration to consent to the International Humanitarian Fact-Finding Commission investigation. IHFFC is the only permanent body set up specifically to investigate violations of international humanitarian law.

Here is a link for very good article that gives background information about the International Humanitarian Fact-Finding Commission. It is an idea whose time has definitely come. The IHFFC was created in 1991 to investigate violations of international humanitarian law, but has never been activated. Dr Joanne Liu, president of Doctors Without Borders, says "The tool exists, and it is time it is activated."
