Why don't they just give them away free with cornflakes, if they are so safe?

Well we have 14 dead and 17 wounded in San Bernardino today.......possible angry employee who left the Christmas party upset and came back with 2 others.

Thus far confirmation is one male and one female dead in the getaway vehicle. Appears one has name that is confirmed, citizen of USA, Syed Farook. Possible terrorist?

With 352 mass shootings this year in the USA what we don't need is a Home Shopping Channel to sell these weapons.

Anyone in favor of owning a gun I think needs to ponder and reflect on where this is all going. . . when one's buttons are pressed, one reacts. If one has access to weaponry, then one is a few steps closer to using them, and potentially killing someone.

Noted. Thanks, Judy.
Gee, I had a hard time reading through that article----kinda made me sick. But, glad to at least know about this horrible plan.
Earlier today, I signed a petition posted here at Care2 for Congress to once again pass an Assault Weapons Ban. We had one for 10 years that expired during Bush and was not renewed. This is a good start!

"“I don’t really know that it’s going to put more guns on the streets.”

Of course it is! Isn't that what advertising is all about? It will, like most advertising, encourage impulse buying.

Thank you Judy and AniMae. Every day I say to myself that things can't possibly get worse, and every day they do. This is the most insane thing I've heard to date and truly am speechless!
"According to a report by the Desert Sun newspaper, in California, the executives behind Gun TV insist that their channel aims simply to meet demand for gun ownership in America, rather than generate it."
Capitalism at it's best. My mind can't wrap itself around this, IS THIS EVEN A POSSIBILITY?

Lockheed Martin and other weapons manufacturers are at the same salivating over the fact their profits are increasing daily as a result of an increase in orders for weaponry.

Something is terribly, sadly wrong with this entire equation.
