Thanks Judy for this valuable posting. We need to be warned....even when we are Vegan, even when we are extremely careful with the purity of our own diets.....these microbes can and do cause problems. I am Vegan and I like many others have had to bad an antibiotic resistant bug...caused by the over use of antibiotics to make chickens and hogs fatter before auction .....more pennies per pound is big bucks.

Thanks again for this alert ....this is a vital function of the Care 2 news network...and you, Judy, are a champ in giving us articles important to our health and business practices in this country.

This was considered a possibility when they started farming salmon, and everyone with any sense knew it would be a major problem for the wild salmon. And how can they be certain these escaped fish don't have salmon anemia or parasites? Just because their spokesperson said so? It will be interesting to find out if they actually captured all the fish that escaped. Thanks for the post, Judy.
