Today's story is from one of my favorite people in Africa - my dear, young friend Hope. One of my favorite things in all the world is to sit and learn from children. Hope's eternal joy and quiet smile always warm my heart. It is no exaggeration to say -

Thank you so for this post. What a perfect message for what I may say as the true spirit of this season. Children and young people's capacity for joy and love in the midst of hardship, well, it just slaps me right in the face, and that is a very good thing for me., for all....Thank you

Thanks Hope for having a positive outlook in life, even in such situation as being orphaned, there are still good souls like your friend Brian who is the voice for so many young people in your country! Your letter is inspiring & humble & makes one truly appreciate all what we have in America! It is always comparing to what others do not have, that we take these for granted! God's Blessing to you Brian & the work you do for orphans like Hope & so many others in this same circumstance.
