A new media channel that will amplify the voices of Occupy. We use media to call for social, economic and environmental justice. We seek to inspire resistance, engagement and the creation of the new world we imagine.

Great the first comment is a spammer with the same name using multiply variations. I assume as the title had the word Occupy, that this drew in this crap.

Thanks Dandelion, I had just posted an article from Alternet noting that they were coming and you smartly found them!

I signed up and would urge everyone else to do so too.

I signed up too. Thanks for the post, Sheryl. They should have a 'counter' on the page to show how many are signing up and how quickly it grows.

I don't know about anyone else, but Care2's formatting has come undone --at least on my computer. I'm going to try reinstalling my web browser because everything is out of whack on every page I access.

Thanks for the post, Dandelion. I'll come back to it when I get this mess cleared up!

I get 'runtime' errors and punctuations turn into hash marks. C2 is screwed up. It's like they have tried to install an add-on into IE9 but it is not working correctly. very frustrating.

Just watched my 'butterfly points' go from 4000 to 3094 to 4026, all without my doing anything at all.

I installed IE9 and had to take it off, I couldn't send messages, I couldn't do a lot of things on C2 and my daughter, who uses FB, said IE9 gave her issues there as well. I thank everyone for checking this out. Now I hope it is a busy season with spring and summer to Occupy! This will be a good site to gather information and to keep up on what is going on with the Occupy Movement.

Excellent. I signed up. Thanks Dandelion. We need to stay on task with Occupy. The masses' attention span, with the help of the MSM, is short indeed. Even in the alternative press, and on Care2, we get enthused and then many people burn out fast. I was thinking recently about how our spirits can get ground down by cynicism and despair without our even realizing it sometimes. Lots of us have ben operating in survival mode. We are understandably suspicious, and afraid to get our hopes up. Just plunging in is the antidote, it seems!

Thanks, Dandelion. I'll sign up, too. The first comments, although plentiful from one person, all seem quite positive, like "interesting," "Thanks for the information," etc. Perhaps it's an innocent mishap of the system that several people are saying isn't working so well. BTW, I use Firefox or Opera and don't have much trouble these days, although Firefox does tend to crash quite often... not just re Care2, though.
