Bill Oddie, the naturalist, protests against HSBC's illegal logging by entering the den of a creature closely related to humans: the banker. HSBC bankrolls some of the world's most destructive logging companies also risking international laundering rules.

Felt a little like the Occupy moving into a bank--only the HSBC bankers didn't even see the humor...truly ironic.

Oh, I have misplaced it some where. Now the sneaky lawmakers are really pulling stuff.. Ag-gag and GMO added into the farm bill... and now they have made an enviro-terrorist arrest clause for anyone trying to protect trees and forests, its incredible... I have the info lost in my amazing mound of info... bahhhhhh! Thanks Dandy Warrior... keep shining... :)

Very funny. What's not funny is the destruction of our home and host. Then again, what can one expect from a bank whose initials stand for Hong Kong Shanghai Banking Consortium?

I do find a lot of things on my own, Iona, but this one I was led to by C2 member Richard J., a citizen of the UK. It was too good not to share.

I did go to the petition, and definitely signed. Bankers are barely human, the way they are able to trample everyone else without any apparent qualms. Mush of the misery in the world can be traced to them, and the people they enable to exploit the world. Thanks, Dandelion.

This is a tragic pandemic issue of significant relevance.
Planetary Rainforests are imperative to our existence.
Massive amounts of lives hang in the balance.
Damages have become exuberant.
Tolerance has reached it's limitations.
Official judicial litigation by powerful world leaders
is essential to rectify the situation.
I have signed the petition
Much appreciation for the info video
Thank you Dandelion

I love this (but fellow cat lovers - turn the sound off if Bill Oddie ever gets going on the subject of cats - to say he hates them is an understatement). I loved the bankers being described as having frontal lobes the size of a squirrel - sounds about right!
