Despicable.....and has forever altered the lives of the entire population who drank this water. Lead poisoning is forever, there is no cure, no way to fix it. These children will live their entire lives with medical issues from a heartless Gov. who wanted to save a few dollars for the Corporate and wealthy.

We knew officials weren't drinking the water, didn't we? If this isn't criminal, what is? Jail time for all because if they get away with it here, they can get away with it anywhere.

Already signed the Moore petition. It figures that government officials got clean water while the voters were drinking filth!

Thanks Dandelion....saw this on Rachel Maddow, who broadcast from Flint on Wed and has been covering this story for weeks. I have signed the Michael Moore petition and quite a few others on this despicable situation.

Noted. Thanks, Dandelion.
I've already signed Moore's petition, too, as well as others asking for the governor's removal.
In my opinion, this is strong evidence for the case against the governor.
Additionally, on Rachel's show last night, the latest news was the water being tested now, after treatment, is still 10x higher than acceptable for lead, and the filters won't work. Water is being delivered only to local fire depts.....and testing kits are also available only there, too. Rachel "suggested" that people take containers to the location that the governor is sending the water to city officials, and fill up. Very bold!

Thank goodness for Rachel Maddow, she kept the spotlight onto this situation when no other mainstream media was doing so.

I'm not surprised, the rich and the government will always look after their own interests first. They don't give a flying rat's ass about anything the the poor/working/and middle class have to deal with. They are so far removed from the average American it isn't even funny.

So the elite get clean water, while the commoners can drink swill. This is disgusting, and I like Rachel Maddow's idea that Lois points out. Thanks Dandelion.

"According to newly discovered emails, Michigan officials were trucking clean water to a state building in Flint in January 2015, long before they acknowledged to residents that the city had a contamination problem."

That, along with what will certainly be many others, ought be enough to put most of Michigan's elected officials in jail. Horrific actions, horrific lies, even more horrific consequences to the state's children.
