In Wisconsin over a hundred prisoners are in the long term solitary confinement Units a.k.a. administrative confinement AC. Some have been in isolation for 18 to 29 years concurrently. AC for more than 15 days has been deemed torture by United Nations.

You can bet Snotty Wanker and the Kochsucking Republican legislature at best will do nothing. They is likely to make the situation worse if possible and their will be little to no coverage in the Wisconsin media. If the media does put out something they will publish Walker's press release as if it were the latest edition of the Bible.

Announcing a Human Rights Campaign at Waupun Correctional Institution starting June 10, 2016.

Prisoners in Waupun's long term solitary confinement units will start a food refusal action called “Dying to Live” to demand an end to solitary torture in Wisconsin prisons.
THE WHY: In the state of Wisconsin over a hundred prisoners are in the long term solitary confinement Units a.k.a. administrative confinement (AC). Some have been in isolation for 18 to 29 years concurrently.

The Problem: The U.N., several states, and even President Obama have come out against this kind of confinement, citing the torturous effect it has on prisoners.
The objective: Stop the torturous use of long term solitary confinement (A.C.) Here are our demands:

1) Place a legislative cap on the use of long term solitary confinement (A.C.)
2) DOC and WIS legislators must adopt/come into Compliance with the U.N. Mandela Rules on the use of solitary confinement.
3) Form and implement an Oversight Board/committee Independent of DOC to stop abuse and over-classification of prisoners to “short” and “long” term confinement.
4) Immediately transition and release prisoners who have been on the long term solitary confinement units for more than a year in the Wisconsin DOC to less restrictive housing.
5 ) Ensure proper mental health facilities and treatment of “short“ and “long” term solitary confinement prisoners.
6) Instigate an immediate FBI investigation into the mind control programs being used in the system. We believe these exist to break and recondition anyone they consider a threat to their regiment. All mind control programs aimed at dehumanizing prisoners under the guise of “mental therapy” must be investigated and stopped.*

Here is a links to an article on mind control programs in our prisons:

https://iwoc.noblogs.org/post/2016/02/16/personal-experience-with-behavior-control-in-a-wisconsin-prison/

For more information on AC, including the Mandela Rules, to read AC prisoners profiles and writings by AC prisoners, and much more, go to www.solitarytorture.blogspot.com and from there you can browse other prison issues.
============
1984 is here NOW.....
By the way, you may find this hard to believe....
But I, BMutiny, I believe I was subjected to very early forms of mind control experiments in my early teens, in the 1950's, at what I like to refer to as "the summer camp from Hell"....
the stuff this prisoner writes, RESONATES WITH ME AS PERFECTLY ACCURATE, I have done some research on these techniques he mentions....
The Algerian psychologist Franz Fanon has also written books on these psychological torture techniques of de-humanization.

By the way, I think I managed to survive, I THINK you'll find me "sane", but I do have some psychological scars....
Mind-controlling behavior-altering drugs I believe were first developed by German chemists during WWII, they were part of the notorious "medical experiments" on Jewish concentration-camp victims....
after the war, in "Operation Paper Clip", German scientists were allowed by the CIA to come to the US, and American Science BUILT ON THEIR RESEARCHES... things it wouldn't be ethical for American scientists to do in research on Human Beings..... altho the boundaries of what was considered "ethical" were very elastic at the time [and still are].....

George Orwell in "1984", KNEW WHAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT.....

Please get this beyond the reach of the C2 community so that more signatures can be gathered. Anyone on FB or other social networks please share this petition. Thanks Darren, you are a wonderful man for I know you do share these petitions elsewhere. If each one took the step to share with one more person and ask that person to share or to share on another network we'd greatly increase these signatures.

Thanks for the clarification on the articles, Dandelion. Yes, women get interrupted all the time. Men have louder voices so they seem to think whomever speaks loudest is right. Very frustrating.
As for the other, I will go back and look for the petition.
Thanks for the post.

Prolonged solitary confinement is inhumane and nobody should ever be subjected to this-even the worst of criminals shouldn't be treated this way.

We have this thing called the 8th Amendment. It bars cruel and unusual punishment such as this. Unfortunately, without the support and defense of the citizens in this country, our Constitution is nothing more than a piece of paper. We now live in a country where police gun down innocent people on the street and in their homes. Prison Guards beat, torture, and kill prisoners - Many not even convicted of a crime - at will, with impunity. We live in a country where Federal Judges, who are supposed to PROTECT citizens against the all powerful government, instead ignore the Constitution and draft rulings twisting and perverting the intent of the law to allow the Government to do more of the same. We also now have politicians OPENLY DRAFTING LAWS they KNOW are unconstitutional on their face. - Which as far as I am concerned, is treason! And worse, we have gone from being a nation watching in silence as this happens, to being a nation where a growing number of citizens APPROVE of these crimes against the people and openly excuse and advocate for it while good citizens remain silent and do NOTHING...
- The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing. -

I know not all want to sign every petition, but I'm still confused as to why anyone would want to note it, as the title is clear, and then not sign the petition.

There is 92 noted.....and only 51 who signed? Please, even if you are not signing, can you forward to someone who might want to. These people depend on the outside world to help them, this is against torture and it should not matter whether they are prisoners or not - we as humanity should be better than that or turning our backs on torture.
