I don't know if it is good or bad for the future that the GWB supporters are starting to aid Hillary, but I absolutely cannot see tRump as our President if I want to have hope for a future world

Well we finally have the two major Parties working with each other. Just turn the Democrat Party into the New Republican Party and the 1% are singing hip hip hooray.

This is in addition to Neocons joining in as well as the head of the Chamber of Commerce pushing the TPP all now voting for Hillary.
Armitage to Back Clinton Over Trump
And
Another Neocon Endorses Clinton Calling her The Real Conservative of the Status Quo
Also
Neocon Kagan Endorses Clinton
Finally

Not to mention she has the former Monsanto Lobbyist running her Campaign Monsanto the Monster From America

Many of the Sander's supporters are vowing not to vote for Clinton. They will either vote for Trump or vote independent and it will still be a huge risk for the Democrats to get Clinton elected.

Hope? Well you saw what hope got you with Obama. Now Hillary has what Obama never had, all of them in her corner. Obama had Wall Street and he made sure more whistleblowers don't whistle anymore. Bit by bit it's being sewn up. Trump vs Hillary......ha ha ha

Come on people you are living in an ILLUSION if you think one is going to be better than the other.

Well I'll give the Clinton's credit.......they are a smart pair for sure. But that isn't going to help YOU Dave or me or the rest of us who are drowning in this mess.

"Defeating Donald Trump is only half of the problem, it’s time to move democracy into the 21st century. It’s time to leave the past in the past and realize that the leaders who created the status quo, will never be inclined to change it as long as they are in charge." Kwame Rose

We are going to have to mate elephants and donkeys, to create what the two major parties represent. Hillary has closets full of donkey pants suits, because she can't wear the same one twice. Her trunk keeps growing longer with each day, from the lies she tells, so the buttons keep popping and they fall apart at the seams!!! They should rename her outfits---"Phant Suits", for those who have too much junk in the trunk.

I never thought I'd look at Hillary and have to wonder where the donkey went. So many disgruntled Bernie supporters are being told that they are looking at a donkey. To please disregard the elephant in the room. As with Climate Change, over half the country is having problems with overly active imaginations and actually believe they see a trunk waving about when she speaks.

There are pills and shots that the big pharmacies have prepared to address this. If they don't remove your illusions, then you must have your head examined, to be sure you haven't got the brain-eating amoeba. You will also need to be medicated and rehabilitated before November.

Meanwhile, be sure to keep your illusions to yourself, as you could find yourself put on the "FBI's Terrorist List"--or worse, the "CIA's". Also, don't be dismayed if your treatments fail, because with or without your vote, Hillary will be given the seat. The extreme rightwing is holding her seat for her---a new extra-wide one, big enough for an elephant's assets.

The emerging Party Platform confirms what commenters have posted here (note petition at the end and forgive the length):

From a Tim Canova email:
" I’m outraged this evening to report to you that the Democratic Platform Committee -- which was stacked with establishment hacks by Debbie Wasserman Schultz -- voted down progressive values like Medicare for All, an indexed to inflation $15 minimum wage, a moratorium to ban fracking, and an amendment to stop the TPP.

This is disturbing because, once again, Wasserman Schultz has succeeded in plunging the Democratic Party further to the right on behalf of her huge corporate donors.

How many times are we going to let the establishment completely ignore grassroots activists and working Americans who are fighting to create a country that works for everyone? "

From a Climate Hawks Vote email just received:
" Nine months ago, we launched the very first petition calling on the Department of Justice to prosecute ExxonMobil for decades of climate deception. Last night , the Democratic National Committee platform drafting committee agreed, unanimously, to put an #ExxonKnew plank in the Democratic Party platform. It reads: All corporations owe it to their shareholders to fully analyze and disclose risks they face including climate risks. Those who fail to do so should be held accountable. Democrats also respectfully request the Department of Justice investigate allegations of corporate fraud on the part of fossil fuel companies accused of misleading shareholders and the public on the scientific reality of climate change. (The DNC hasn't posted the official platform yet, but our transcript is Bill McKibben-approved.)

We’re still sorta stunned.

And it’s happened because of you - your petitions, your advocacy, your demands that the Democratic Party recognizes the need to hold fossil fuel companies accountable for their deceit.

The platform committee news isn’t all good. In fact, the people appointed by Hillary Clinton and the DNC voted down amendments calling for a price on carbon, a ban on fracking, a plan to keep it in the ground, President Obama’s climate test, and stopping future Keystone XLs, all on 7-6 votes.

This is why we’re committed to Climate Hawks Vote. We’re fighting not just the Republicans, but also the incrementalists within the Democratic Party. Incrementalism isn’t good enough when human civilization stares into the climate abyss. While the platform committee took testimony, a fossil-fueled wildfire in California killed two people, destroyed over 100 homes, and scorched 30,000 acres; and climate-changed historic floods in West Virginia killed 23 people. We have the technological solutions to solve the climate crisis; what’s missing is political will. And a big piece of that is voting out climate deniers, and voting in climate hawks in Congress. We’re not backing down.

Are you in?

Yes, I’ll add my name to demand the DOJ investigate ExxonMobil.

Your fellow climate hawks,

RL Miller & Brad Johnson"

It's no surprise that Hank Paulson, one of the architects of the taxpayers' bailout Of the Too Big to Fail Banks would endorse Hillary Clinton. All these scoundrels are in bed together, after all. Paulson is so noble to transcend partisan politics "for the sake of the country".

One could say that we are only have one party anyway, the Corporate Party. Or, there may still be two parties – the Democrats are now the New Republican Party, and the Trump followers can be the Fascist Party.

Any way you look at it, we are circling the drain.

Well, that certainly says it all! Do note that this is the summer where the parties melted down. The skeleton of what really lies within the parties is now shown. I have been waiting a long time for this truth to finally reach the masses. The bait-and-switch games of the Dem party are now in full view. Both parties are broken, and neither one will really help "the people." That is why so many of us For Bernie will be standing firm---whether or not he is the eventual candidate.

Thanks Janice for a super comment, the first paragraph had me laughing so wildly it scared the birds off the tree outside....

=============

Now, it's Hank Paulson from the 2008 Wall St Shearing who will be voting for Hillary?!? It's all just ONE big happy party-family. Next week, Abraham Lincoln, Nixon, Ford, Reagan, and the Bushes will endorse her, too.

Come on Wall Street, don't be slow,
Why man, this is war au-go-go
There's plenty good money to be made
By supplying the Army with the tools of its trade,
But just hope and pray that if they drop the bomb,
They drop it on the Viet Cong.
And it's one, two, three,
What are we fighting for?
Don't ask me, I don't give a damn,
Next stop is Vietnam.
And it's five, six, seven,
Open up the pearly gates,
Well there ain't no time to wonder why
Whoopee! we're all gonna die!

And an hour later, based on how the question was phrased differently, it was he thinks he'll vote for her (if it is her vs. Trump). However, as some note with her having apparently added a felony perjury charge if the judge chooses to her 7 FBI investigations, super delegates may decide she isn't worth the risks (ones no party has ever chosen to take) as nominee at the convention.

Bernie is still in the race - the Superdelegates don't vote until the Convention. It might be easy to say he'll vote for her but he doesn't think that will happen as he'll be nominee, he hasn't thrown the towel in yet. He said he'd make sure Trump doesn't win, he had the largest points and favorability over Trump to win. Right now Hillary is at 47% and Trump 42% in a margin of error that could go either way.

Latest polls are showing that Gary Johnson is picking up a lot of Republicans and Dr. Jill Stein has increased in support up to 7% which is Bernie Sander supporters flocking to her. Within that poll, Bloomberg, it stated that 55% of Bernie Sanders voters will NOT vote for Hillary. I also posted a story on about huge areas that were big Sanders supporters now going to Trump - because they haven't seen where the Democrat Party has done a darn thing for them since the Mr Clinton years.
Uprising In The Rustbelt

Out of the 3 Candidates Bernie Sanders is well liked by many, Trump and Clinton, even many who will vote for them are having voters that are voting out of fear of the "other" and holding their nose. If either of those two become President, Trump or Clinton they'll start off as the least liked President in history even by many of the people who voted for them.

Remember Arild the President must go through the House and Congress, maybe he'll force them to finally do some work. I don't climb on that hype about Trump as I see Hillary just as dangerous. We need to get a lot of Progressives into the down ticket races - get Congress to work and work smarter, the White House is a loss without Bernie in it. I'll not throw the towel in on Bernie until after the Superdelegates vote.

The Empire’s Fools
By Philip Farruggio -
June 27, 2016

“To all those fools out there who either believe in the lies and disinformation shoveled at them, or the ones who tell this writer “Voting for a 3rd party is a wasted vote”: Karma is real!!”

There is this thing hanging over all of us called Karma. Simply put, it is ‘What you sow you shall reap’. To those out there who do not believe in it, what can I say? When we pass over from this reality into that unknown realm, then we will find out, won’t we? For this writer and others who subscribe to the truth of karma, every action in this life must and will be accounted for in either our next stop or… thru instant karma.

Yury Bykov’s 2014 film The Fool deals with some sort of karma. The film focuses on how the new capitalism in Russia can become ugly. The town the film takes place in is run by totally selfish and greedy leaders, whereupon corruption is a way of life. One man, a completely honest man, cares more for the lowest dregs of the town enough to jeopardize everything he has in life. A must see film that teaches us all exactly how unchecked ‘free market capitalism’ rots the very foundations of society. Isn’t that what we have here in our own country for God knows how long? This writer can go to great lengths to indict our whole Military Industrial Empire for what it has done to transform us into a Banana Republic. Rather, let us just focus on perhaps one of the most heinous acts perpetrated by our empire, and how its bastard child grows stronger each day: The illegal and immoral invasion and occupation of Iraq, and our jackboots pressing deeper in the Middle East.

Writer Ian Sinclair has written a powerful commentary on the Global Research site (June 24th) about the revisionist history and opinions by Amerika’s UK puppets. According to Sinclair’s documentations of the famous Chilicot Inquiry aftermath, the UK has its own phony media spin machine. The mainstream British press, Siamese twin to our own, focuses more on the occupation of Iraq and not the actual pre-emptive illegal and immoral attack on it. Sinclair quotes Cambridge Professor David Runciman saying that the US and UK invaded Iraq “to spread the merits of democracy.” Most of the pundits quoted by Sinclair all agreed that the occupation was mishandled etc but as the BBC’s John Humphreys stated in 2012 as to the insurgency , when asked about the British occupation of Iraq: “If a country has sent its young men to another country to die, to restore- create democracy, you’d expect a bit of gratitude, wouldn’t you?” As far as the number one US empire’s UK puppet, Tony Blair, the Guardian newspaper (supposed left wing leaning UK paper) offered Blair an outlet for his twisted and shameful reasoning. According to the paper, Blair ‘ will argue the ultimate cause of the long-term bloodshed in Iraq was the scale of external intervention in the country by Iran and Al-Qaeda’.

A select few who ran the town and certain businesses in Bykov’s The Fool profited handsomely from taxpayer money diverted into their greedy and corrupt hands. Well, in our Reality Show version of the Iraq War experience, a select few companies and individuals profited to the tune of hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars during the occupation. You see, the scam is simple, and it has never changed: You destroy a nation’s infrastructure and of course its people, and then get your taxpayers to subsidize the rebuilding. Whereas the crooked town leaders in The Fool illegally pocketed money scheduled for the community’s improvement, everything involving the Iraq occupation was done legally… except of course the actual invasion. Some say the whole disaster has already cost our nation over one trillion dollars. The Brits have their own ‘raided treasury’ to calculate. Regardless, this is all money that could have been spent to do so many wonderful things at home, whether in the US or UK. It is gone… for good!

The sad point of it all is that like the fools who lived in the depleted building in The Fool, who returned to their apartments even after being warned by the good guy in the film (first beating him unconscious for ‘bothering them’) so we have millions of fools right here. The mainstream media, which shovels most of the **** that they digest, continues to con them about what both our two major political parties are all about. As with the 52% of Brits who were wise enough to say NO to the European Union and its New World Order handlers , so we need true conservative and true progressive Americans to say NO to Trump and Killary and vote for the Libertarians and Greens. Yes, voting is not the end game, rather just a beginning. Isn’t it ironic how the Libertarians and Greens agree 1000% that our military spending is obscene, our bases worldwide a disgrace, and of course our jackboots in the Middle East and now threatening Russia and China a ghastly mistake. The Bush/Cheney gang did their dastardly deeds for the empire. Then Obama ‘ followed orders… oh sorry, followed advice ‘ and continued the charade in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Yemen, Pakistan and Syria. This crazy ISIS would never had existed and grown substantially without what the Bush/Cheney gang and now Obama had done. Each time another drone missile kills innocent civilians more Middle Easterners support those people.

To all those fools out there who either believe in the lies and disinformation shoveled at them, or the ones who tell this writer “Voting for a 3rd party is a wasted vote”: Karma is real!!

You know things are screwed up when Republican banksters are supporting Clinton and liberals are acknowledging that Hillary is more dangerous on foreign policy than Trump. Either one would be a disaster for we the people. Real change will only come when we the people stand up against Tyranny and vote out the Oligarchy.

@JL "From a Tim Canova email:

"
Medicare for all is not progressive, it's already on an unsustainable path relying on price controls and rationing. We need a free market in healthcare that covers all at reasonable costs.
A forced minimum wage is not progressive either as it's a violation of basic human rights. The government should have no say in a voluntary exchange of labor. Besides it's racist and ignores the laws of economics. Even if you think a forced minimum wage is a good idea you should at least be against it being set at the national level. The costs of living vary greatly across our nation. A better approach would be tax reform. We need to return power to the people, not give more control to the federal government. They have proven they can not be trusted.

Sheryl G (359)
Saturday July 2, 2016, 7:30 am
We need a minimum wage because if we didn't have that the Corporate Oligarchy would be paying a dollar an hour and feel that was enough, after all they are paying other 60 cents in some other Countries. This has been a race to the bottom and it would be worse without a least some protections for the workers.

Darren Woolsey (218)
Saturday July 2, 2016, 11:22 pm
Eric, your reasoning on this is flaky, but understandable if you believe in Corporate Capitalism and open market forces.

You argue about a Forced Minimum Wage". This conveniently forgets the fact that MILLIONS ARE FORCED to work long hours for considerably LESS than ANY Minimum Wage. Why is this?

Why do you, and others who are seduced by right-wing Capitalist believe it's OKAY to have a workforce grinding out long hours, whilst it appears to be also okay for some idiot in a suit to sit in an office and earn multi-millions. Why is this?
