Thank you Dandelion! This is surely a tragedy and tragedy I cannot donate. I wish I could give blood, but that's unrealistic living here. Thank you Evelyn B.

Thank you, Sheryl, for posting on the earthquake catastrophe in the three Italian towns. I've spent time on Italian newspaper sites to see the photos & the videos and it really is heartbreaking.

When you see some of the videos, the pain people are experiencing is just too much to take:

-like the old farmer carrying pails of water (far too heavy for him) uphill to bring to those of his animals that survived the collapse of the barn, crying as he tells a journalist that he's lost everything, his home & animals;
-like the rescuer telling a journalist how he & his colleagues pulled two dead children from the rubble and then the parents, who were alive, and starting crying as he remembers the terrible moment for the parents.

I had to stop...

If we are alive today, with more health than not, with something on our table to eat, if we have a roof over the head - we are blessed.

Please donate if you can - even a small amount helps. The small amounts are added to other small amounts and eventually it all adds up.

Thanks Dandelion. Hope many people will help Italians. Unfortunately, I can't due to financial reasons (Greek crisis) but my prayers are with them and my heart bleeds for them. I wish I could do something more.

Yes, Greece certainly has been in a long ongoing crises. I also wish you and your Countrymen and women well too.
