Justice for Alex Wubbels - Petition

Health & Wellness  (tags: Alex Wubbels, nurse, justice, petition, Utah, arrested )

Alex was simply following protocol and protecting her patient. She was stuck in a rock and a hard place and protected her patient. I believe a public apology should be given by Officer Payne to Alex.

This is an Empire crumbling into the dirt, the Police State arresting our Nurses, Elders and just out of control while the REAL Criminals are robbing what is left from this Nation overall.

This is disgusting to treat this woman, a nurse, for heavens sake!!, like this, absolutely horrible. I (personally), don't think that Detective Payne should be put on PAID leave by his actions, he and his supervisor should be fired, imho.
You bet I signed, Thanks, Dandelion.

I agree Pat, I think more than him giving this woman an apology should occur. At the very least a suspension without pay for a month might smarten him up. There is a longer video than what I placed on here and she is asking another police officer "why is he so angry?"

From what I could see from the video on the News,
(yes I watch TV, that's where I get a lot of info. from)
it was apparent that the nurse was being bullied,
forced and pushed around. She refused police
demands to draw blood from an unconscious
person. That is rightfully outside of her code of
ethics. To no avail to the persistent police, who just
continued to be abusive. However, after all, an
apology was given. An apology is no enough, not
after all that she has been through. She should get
a good lawyer and sue them to the maximum.

Signed and tweeted! This Detective BROKE THE LAW! He needs to be charged with Kidnapping, since he detained her against her will. She was not charged nor arrested. He should be tried for this crime.

Usually, though, it’s not at the hands of police officers.

I think people could really relate to this one Peggy. Nurses are regarded in pretty high standing in this Country, they should be. They give so much of themselves and to see another, that is suppose to protect it's citizens do what he did to her was unacceptable. The video showed her polite, asking for clarification on this, and still the police officer just went ballistic on her.

He took her away from her job and her patients because he couldn't keep his aggressive posture in line. I think the entire police force in the USA needs to be retrained.

He screwed up. 450,651 supporters now.

This is the second petition I've signed today. I hope she gets her apology, sues them and the police officer needs to either go for good or retrained AND be on desk duty only for many years.

As the head of one of the US Nursing Unions said,( and I am paraphrasing here) It's not a good idea to piss off a nurse!

Kudos to her ...

Shame on the hospital authorities & the University police officers who stood by ...

Payne's been suspended - he should be fired.
He is a "Law and Order" official who not only does NOT respect the Law, he throws a tantrum when he doesn't get his way. NOT FIT TO SERVE

(Doesn't that make you think of someone else, who sets an example of temper tantrums when he doesn't get his way???)
