Here's a fun riddle for you: When is an animal not an animal? The answer? When itâEUR(TM)s in Arizona. Is this a trick question?

I can see it now, corporations being termed animals and claiming taxes as cruelty!

If corporations are people and animals on the farm are not animals then what are we? Its just another loony suggestion from the republican cow bier to confuse us now and ensnare us later with another raft of unnecessary legislation.
Ever tuned into a live parliamentary session on the TV? Listen to them all braying like farm animals and sounding in particular like sheep whenever their chosen politician says something they agree with.

MORONS. Animals are more human than billions of people. They feel just like we do. Shameful. Thanks

From the Mercy for Animals blog:

"Citing the need for increased legal protections for all animals, Arizona Governor Doug Ducey issued his first veto since taking office to strike down a bill that would have removed cows, pigs, chickens and other farmed animals from the definition of “animal” in the state’s anti-cruelty statute.

“I know we all agree that animal cruelty is inexcusable, unacceptable, and absolutely will not be tolerated in the state of Arizona,” the governor wrote in a statement to the House of Representatives. “No animal should be the victim of abuse. Moreover, perpetrators must be held to account and properly penalized to the fullest extent of the law."
