Did your rep vote to keep you in the dark? China and Russia require the labeling of genetically engineered foods, but here in America, it's another story.

The fight is not over yet. Monsanto haven't won entirely. It only remains for the states themselves to stand up and make it clear that it is not democratic or reasonable to impose a one size fits all rule on the people of the US. If that doesn't work you can always have another civil war. :-) Seriously though we have only one planet and one life each so lets make the best use of both that we can to bring these corrupt bastards down and to heel for the good of all.

Yes, my twit voted for the Dark Act...but he's also against gay marriage, against the agreement with Iran, against any form of gun control, etc. A total cave man with no class or character and he heard from me. But no matter because sooner or later, one way or another, Monsanto is going down.

We have "Citizens United," McCutcheon (did I spell that right), ALEC, and the general apathy of the US public to thank for this. I hope that enough people have awakened to the truth so we can turn our country around while nonviolent and legal methods are feasible.

Arielle, shame on you for being so mean to cavemen.

Noted. Thanks, Kathy.
My ALEC-bought-and-paid-for rep. voted for it, too. She is a Republican. Most disappointing was that Dem. representatives in my state also voted for it. And, both are going to seek higher office soon. I hope this is a scar on their voting record, but these days you just never know......

Outrageous. This is just criminal.

I am going to grow more food and buy from local farmers. This is going to backfire on Monsanto and may even help us return to organic diverse farming. More anymore people are saving seeds. One day Monsanto will be coming to people that had the good sense to save seeds.

Ditto Darlene--go organic at least. Beasts. Thanks Kathy. Noted.

Another win for the Big Business community.

Darlene, That is Not going to happen. Monsanto has alot of backing by the local Farmers. We can't afford to deal with organic, there is no money in it plus the low yields that come with Organic.

People do not let corporations who will benefit get away with this.

Darlene you go and grow your organic food and take no notice of Master Ness. He knows not what he is talking about.
As for organic being poorer yielding you really do talk so much bullshit Kyle Ness. See the Rodale 30 year growing trial results and don't you even dare trying to tell me they don't count or are flawed.
Final point to you is this. We already grow twice as much food as we actually need globally to sustain the current population so a drop in yields if such occurred would not be a loss of any sort. Organic looks after the land. People like Monsanto kill the soil for profit. And people like you Kyle fully support the act of ecocide by carrying it out. .

How shocking this all is, everyone in the world knows why America is the only country with no right to know what is in our food, it openly tramps on all the rights we once had in America as to foods and such, the Big corporations have reached the point now of calling ALL the shots and the corrupted government stands by and agrees to it cause they have already gotten their rewards. Until this gets resolved to the 93% of all American citizens, who demand and want their right to know about the food stuffs they are forced to consume, this whole country will be in rebellion against those who want to control us totally, MONSANTO LAND is what I see America now being known of, its reality.

Kyle, you don't do any thinking for yourself do you? You have your head so buried in what your masters tell you is the truth, you can't think for yourself or do any research, how sad. I'm constantly seeing articles like this that talk about the cost of non-GMO seed being so much lower and premium prices being paid for non-GMO crops. You need to go back to being a farmer and quit being a chemical input manager.
