Brexit; the crushing of democracy by billionaires; the next financial crash; a rogue US president: none of them keeps me awake at night. This is not because I don't care-I care very much. It's only because I have a bigger question on my mind. Where is...

All the knowledge is out there, how to farm better, how to recycle, how to power our needs on green energy, how to do things to make the world more equitable for all.

It is also proven that when people are healthier are living in better circumstance, they tend to have fewer children. People who have no safety net have larger families so that in their old age there are more hands to help them.

When children die off of preventable diseases they have larger families increasing the chances more will survive. Again, our Right Wing nuts are not helping matters, women who are wanting planned family size are having it harder to obtain birth control, which would also prevent the need for abortions which they also don't want women to have.

Thanks, K. Truly frightening but the world carries on with this insanity, regardless. Look at the Christmas marketing, for example, and be appalled.

Zero population growth.....GREAT idea! But--look at the position of religions on this matter. Future of the earth doesn't matter--let's build our base!

I have been trying to control my meat eating for many years now by eating meat only three to four days per week and only one meat meal on those days. If everyone in Canada and U.S. did this maybe we could get rid of those horrible factory farms. It's a start.
