Cats who don't eat, eat too quickly, or guard food may have emotional, mental, or medical trouble.

My kitty tends to gobble his food fast & i have to be cautious not to give him too much because he'll eat it all & then throw it up.
i know why he does this, he started life as an abused stray baby alone with only his sister, i fostered both but couldn't let Stevie go when it was time for him & Scarlet to go.
So i guess some ingrained 'habits' linger.
