As temperatures dropped below freezing over the last week, animal advocates said feral animals, including a cat population, were in danger.

Could they not have waited until the weather warmed it a bit and then spoke with the people concerning the shelters. Reminds me of the police removing the homeless blankets and tents, they seem to always do it right during the winter months. Despicable.
