Donald Trump should be allowed to enter the UK in his capacity as head of the US Government, but he should not be invited to make an official State Visit because it would cause embarrassment to Her Majesty the Queen.

Only British citizens or UK residents have the right to sign. I agree - don't waste Her Majesty the Queen's time with Donald Trump.

1,337,205 signatures now!

"Donald Trump's well documented misogyny and vulgarity disqualifies him from being received by Her Majesty the Queen or the Prince of Wales. Therefore during the term of his presidency Donald Trump should not be invited to the United Kingdom for an official State Visit."

Not to mention how such a State Visit would increase his delusions of grandeur!!
Definitely NO!

Thanks, Darren!

(Can you imagine the scene with Charles asking DT on what grounds he dismisses climate change ???!!!!

Except - Charles is diplomatic, so fireworks might be avoided ...)

Please let Trump come to the UK, so when he tried to come back to America, we won't let him in because of his immigration status.

Trump is a friend to Britain while Obama & Merkel were plotting our downfall he was there - Blair & Bush destroyed this country - it is time for the British to grow up & smell the coffee. Thank god for Farage & now Theresa May seems to have the courage & determination to take us forward. The American people had the foresight to vote for Trump .

It takes all sorts to make a world, and there are inevitably some who put BLOTUS on a pedestal.

I'm far from sure that many who voted for DT are sincerely convinced that he's really the best thing ever to happen ... He isn't the only person who believes this (his) narrative.

Please excuse the fact that I cannot agree with this perception and accord me the right to have my own opinion on the subject - and I recognise your right to believe whatever you believe (although I can't really understand it!)

Here's an interesting article about how some people are fully on board with the goods that BT is selling them!

He's scum. How can you let a man who bragged about cheating on his first and 2nd wives, called escaping venereal disease 'his own Vietnam" (after dodging the draft 5 times) and has a long and recorded history of misogynistic behavior, remarks, and lawsuits. Where has that little hand been? Too many places it was not asked or allowed to go.
Scum? Your Majesty, Scum avoid the like of this kind of being. He is not beast or animal. They are too honest and kind. He is a Perverse sort of Meatsack with little Hands and a continually lying orifice.
Trust 70 years of bankruptcy bragadacciao bloviation and blithering idiocy. This President is the one to show proper disdain to.

For the UK, there are Official Visits of heads of state - and the vast majority of visits by Heads of State are this: Official Visits.

Then there are State Visits - with pomp and ceremony, red carpets, Buckingham Palace etc.
About 50 State Visits have involved this hyped up version during the entire reign of Elizabeth.
I certainly do not wish to see tax money expended on the frills of THIS kind of visit being arranged for DT.

And why has it been proposed?
In crude terms, a pimping operation in the hope of getting DT to give the UK very special trade advantages.

Clearly - some people don't understand the difference.

Just to be clear to some who haven't understood.

This petition is NOT against an OFFICIAL VISIT by POTUS.
That is unavoidable

It is against a STATE VISIT - i.e. with pomp & ceremony & being received by the royal family.
VERY far from all OFFICIAL VISITS by heads of state are State Visits.

A small proportion of State Visits have been by heads of state who frankly were undesirable persons.

NONE of those were quite so crude and egotistical as DT.
I don't believe that the royal family should be used as "bait" for DT's ego ... cheapening the concept of State Visit.
I don't believe that the brief ego-inflation would actually ensure special favours from DT to the UK anyway ... it wouldn't directly open any doors to Trump businesses - at "best" just serving as more 'boast material'.

NO to a State Visit

Just an Official Visit to the UK by POTUS
(and if May wants to rub him up the right way, let her - with Rughead, Farrage & Co. Just leave the royals out of it. )

Julia Walker seems to eat the rhetoric and propaganda that is peddled by the Daily Express and Daily Mail.

This "special arrangement" between certain countries is a throwback to old-style Colonialism for my money. Utter drivel and it differentiates and paints some countries are being less favorable than others. CRAP.

I sell books, CDs and vinyl LPs through Amazon, Discogs and eBay. I'll sell to anyone in the world who wants to buy. This bullsh$t about feeling superior to some, is one reason why the world is in the mess it's in.
