I'm helping to protect ocean wildlife by pledging to boycott unsustainably-caught swordfish. I'm going to be part of the solution to the problem of longlines and drift gillnets decimating ocean animals like sharks, whales and sea turtles. See more above!

Pledge to boycott all sea life!

It's all unsustainable - in the history of the world no wild caught animals have sustainably fed the human population without eventually the population being decimated. So a fish species deemed sustainable today will eventually make the do not eat list because of low numbers.

It's all murder - dead is still dead no matter how it affects the species sustainability.

I have boycotted unsustainably caught and farmed fish for years at restaurants and grocery stores. I have eaten swordfish only once or twice years ago, but will gladly add it to my list of fish to avoid, if as usual it is caught with longlines or drift gillnets, which are environmentally devastating to marine life.

Fish is delicious and healthy for you but it needs to come from water that DOES NOT have lead and mercury or else it its not healthy for us and please clean the oceans so we can have nice clean good fish. And fish has the omega 3's that are VERY IMPORTANT for your good health.

for anyone who eats fish for the omega 3's please check out the plant based sources of omega 3's which come without the saturated fats, cholesterol, and toxins.

thank you for this. I wish people would stop fishing all together. nets, lines,etc..are dangerous. not just to fish, but to all ocean life. whatever the reason is people eat fish, sharks,etc... there's other healthy food you could eat in it's place. there's vitamins instead of fish. there's other oils for lotion. we're taking the whales, sharks, and dolphins food away from by eating their fish.
