Marlin Miller

Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer

Marlin was one of Care2′s first employees in 1999 and has managed the growth of the company from the launch of Care2.com to where it is today. As the Chief Operating Officer, Marlin brings 18 years of high-tech marketing and general management expertise to his role of managing the company’s P&L and operations, including business development, engineering, product management, client support, user acquisition, marketing, finance and administration.

Marlin’s focus at Care2 is to build a vibrant and profitable business consistent with the company’s philanthropic mission. Marlin also works with Care2’s strategic advisors, manages the company’s banking relationships and is on the lookout for new sources of growth capital.

As an animal lover who has adopted a number of shelter dogs and cats over the years, Marlin is a passionate advocate for animal welfare. Marlin also has an interest in public education and helped found a public charter school. He served as a board member of Bullis Charter School and was the chair of its fundraising foundation for 6 years. In his spare time, Marlin is an avid bike rider and downhill skier. He’s also a big fan of his alma mater sports teams at Michigan and Stanford.

Prior to Care2, Marlin was VP of Marketing for the Enterprise Storage Division at Quantum, where he played a significant role in turning a money-losing business into a $700 million industry leader. He has also held marketing management positions at HP and was a management consultant at Bain and Company. Earlier in his career, Marlin was a consultant for Commtech International Management Corporation, which later became his connection to Randy and Care2.

Marlin holds a BS in Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

NATASHA NUMMEDAL

Chief Operating Officer

As Senior Director of Nonprofit Campaigns at Care2, Natasha leads a highly creative and skilled campaigns team that connects hundreds of nonprofits in the US and around the globe with passionate donor members and supporters within Care2′s community. Since 2007, she’s run countless online campaigns committed to advancing social justice, protecting our planet and building healthier lives for everyone.

Prior to Care2, Natasha was Director for Amnesty International USA’s Urgent Action Program, and brought more than 18 years of organizing, volunteer and work experience in the human rights movement.

Natasha holds an MA in Philosophy from the University of Colorado-Boulder, where she focused on feminist ethics and rights theory, and a BS in Mathematics and Philosophy from LSU.

In her spare time, she can be found wandering the trails of northern California with her husband, young son and 80-lb “puppy.”

ERIC RARDIN

Chief Revenue Officer

Eric is the vice president of business development at Care2.com where he helps hundreds of campaigns, candidates, and nonprofits connect with donors and supporters online. At Care2 Eric advises on donor lead acquisition and multichannel conversion strategies. He has contributed to integrated conversion efforts on behalf of nonprofits in the US, Canada, and the United Kingdom and over 100 other countries. Eric serves on the board of directors of two national nonprofit organizations, Humane Farm Animal Care and the Marine Fish Conservation Network.

Prior to joining Care2 Eric designed and executed integrated advocacy campaigns for environmental nonprofits for more than seven years. Eric has an MBA from the Carey School of Business at Johns Hopkins University, an MA in government and international studies from the University of South Carolina and a BS in political science from the University of Wyoming. In addition to his work in the environmental advocacy arena, Eric has extensive experience working on political and issue campaigns from Wyoming to South Africa.

JULIANA WANG

CONTROLLER

Juliana joined Care2 as the Controller in Sept 2017, responsible for overall financial and treasury management. Prior to join Care2, Juliana served as senior accounting manager at Verity Health System, a non-profit organization with $1B annual gross revenue, for over 10 years. Juliana holds a BS in commerce from Santa Clara University.
