2012 Prophecies, Legends and Myths

On Winter Solstice, December 21, 2012
the Mayan Long Count runs out!

This may seem insignificant
until we stop to think about the fact
that this ancient calendar cycle started
5,125 years ago!
 
Over 3,000 years before the coming of Christ.

It grew out of the last of the Stone Age
when numerous monuments
like Stonehenge, Burial Cairns, Passage Tombs
Mounds and Pyramids were being built.

We can only speculate what event started the count
or what will come at its end.

Numerous other people and cultures
have also foreseen a great change including:

Hopi, Navajo, Cherokee, Apache
Iroquois confederacy,
Dogon Tribe, and Aborigines
Egyptians, Kabbalists, Essenes
Qero elders of Peru

However there are numerous Prophecies, Legends and Myths
out there dealing with a polluted Earth
the reawakening of mankind to the sacredness of nature
and about the end of the world.
It is known by many names!

"The Time of Trial on Earth"
"The End of Time as We Know It"
"The Shift of the Ages"
"Judgement Day"
"The End of this Creation"
"The Time of Great Purification"   
"The Quickening"
and I'm sure many more.
