At the age of thirty-four, Judy Cenname, a wife and mother of two, lost her fight against breast cancer. The Fight is her story, told through three years of her journal entries and e-mails to friends and family. Judy herself had wanted to write the book as a way of helping others avoid the disease, or, if they were diagnosed with cancer, how to cope with it and understand their options. Ryan Crawford wrote the book on behalf of Judy and her family, after she passed away. Judy's grace, humor, courage and determination shine through in this poignant and inspirational account of her fight for her life.

The book is in memory of my daughter, Judith O'Neill Cenname, who wanted to share her experiences of her battle with breast cancer. Judy hoped that through her courage and experiences, she could reach out to other women who are battling breast cancer.

Judy will be in our hearts forever.
