As I been researching everything about Mount St Florence,St Germaine Home and Villa Loretto. I found out that Mount St Florence is called after the daughter of the owner,that the Sister of the Good Shepherd purchase the property from his name was Daniel H. Craig and his daughter name was Florence. Mount St Florence has a History and it listed at National Register & Landmark .I have Place all the story here on this site.

Sister Martha Marie Crowley, an educator and a Sister of the Good Shepherd for 59 years, died of congestive heart failure Saturday at the Cranberry Pointe nursing facility in Harwich. She was 91.
Born in Bristol, Conn., Sister Martha graduated from Trinity College in Washington in 1922 with a bachelor's degree in English and mathematics.
She entered the Good Shepherd novitiate in Peekskill, N.Y., in 1933 and began her long teaching career, coming to have a special concern for teen-age girls with family or school problems. In 1936, she opened Mount Florence, a four-year high school, where she served as principal and teacher until 1948.
In 1947, Sister Martha received a master's degree
