Millions of people in Africa do not have access to the necessary resources to foster their growth into mature citizens that will responsibly manage their nations. Many of the problems in Africa stem from ignorance, limited knowledge, insufficient human capacity, a lack of wisdom etc.

Countless lives have been lost needlessly through preventable, misdirected traditions and customs etc. This group intends to foster development in Africa primarily through the education and training as follows:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Increase awareness about the lack of educational resources in Africa.

2. Provide access to educational resources and training that will empower people to make better choices and be better citizens.

3. Encourage leadership training and development in Africa.

4. Support education through the provision of the required resources in the form of scholarships, children's and medical books, computers etc.

Action Plan: To fulfill to the vision of contributing to development in Africa, this group will work in close partnership with the following 501c3 non-profit organization: Develop Africa, Inc. ( www.developafrica.org ) Develop Africa, Inc is currently involved in or planning the following projects:

1. Million Book and Dime Project: This project involves providing a million books free to African children to encourage / support literacy and reading skill development.

2. Tuition and Book Scholarship: This program provides tuition and book scholarships to deserving students who otherwise may not be able to continue their education.

3. Basic Computer Training Project: This project provides basic training in computer use and computer software such as office tools etc. This training will provide an important foundation and skill facilitating further development, access to resources etc.

4. Computers For Africa Project: Thousands of school and college students in Africa do not have ready access to a computer. This project will contribute to closing the technology gap by providing a free computer suite / lab (25 to 40 computers) to schools in Africa.
