Hope for Hepatitis C

"Hope for Hep C Foundation" was started by Laurie Wolfe,  Here is my story: Laurie's Personal Story

The program is designed to Raise awareness, Educate and Avocate about the Hepatitis C Virus.

Because All 50 states are other Countries Around the World, are struggling with just how to treat or look for HCV.

All 50 states are struggling and other Countires Around the World, with just how to treat HCV (Hepatitis C Virus), especially in the poor and working poor (un-insured and under-insured) who are most likely to get HCV.

In the end, HCV will be contained ONLY when people like you and I decide that WE CAN do something about it.

~ Almost 1 million with HIV and 5 million with HCV is 5 to 1 ~ CDC

Since 1989, the annual number of new infections has declined by more than 80 percent to approximately 41,000 by 1998.

A national survey (the third National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey [NHANES III]) of the civilian, non-institutionalized U.S. population found that 1.8 percent of Americans (3.9 million) have been infected with HCV, of whom most (2.7 million) are chronically infected with HCV.
