VEGAN WORLD CUISINE is a place for friendly chat of interest to vegans and especially for vegan recipes, requests for recipes and talk about recipes - but you don’t need to be vegan or even vegetarian to be here. After all, we all (or most of us) eat vegetables, grains, beans, fruits, nuts, etc., at some time, and new recipes for them are a good idea! So many cultures besides our own (whatever that may be for each of us) have wonderful recipes that are already vegan or lend themselves easily to being made so. Here we are trying to bring them together to make our dining experience even more exciting!
So, welcome to all! This is a fun group - if you love to talk about food - and we don't have many rules to worry about. You all know the rules against spamming, flaming, and all that impolite stuff. Please, feel free to introduce yourself in the 'Introductions and Kitchen Chat' thread, or join in on the discussions there. There are plenty of blue pinned threads where the latest recipes live, and check out the archive of older ones.
The rest of the guidelines are simple:
* Keep it vegan - no me*t (including fish and other water life, poultry, etc.) - and no animal products (including eggs, dairy, honey).
* Keep it friendly - no anti-veg stuff, no arguments, no guff
* Anti-vegan and non-vegan posts will be removed forthwith
About Recipes:
* Keep to the Tried-n-True - recipes that are yours or that you have made at home and know are really good.
* If you can, please let us know (in the title to the recipe) what country or region it's from. (Some recipes these days, of course, when ideas come from all over, absolutely defy categories. Those can go in the 'Miscellaneous' thread!) That really helps us find things that go together!
