Since taking office in January 2007, Governor Sarah Palin has shown over and over that she has very little regard for protecting the environment in Alaska. No one is closer to the oil industry than Governor Palin. Under her leadership, Alaska is suing the federal government for considering listing the Polar Bear as a threatened species even though global warming threatens its very existence. The lawsuit claims that saving the Polar Bear would cripple offshore oil and gas development in the Beaufort and Chukchi Sea, home to some of the only habitat for the bears in the United States.   Sign our petition and oppose Gov.
