Anybody here, or are you all bird watching?
I've had lots of interesting birds nesting here this year. The baltimore oriole, bluebirds hummingbirds, lots of wrens and the song sparrow and regular sparrows. I think the orioles are here because of my oriole feeder. I have two. One is glass and was expensive, but they don't like that one. They like the cheap plastic. I think because it's a brighter red and yellow. So between filling and changing syrup feeders for the hummingbirds and orioles I don't have much time. It's easier in Winter. I think it made a difference getting rid of six feral cats I had in my barn. I trapped them in March and took them to the SPCA. There's more birds around here now.
I'm here, but since I've broken my ankle, I don't really know what's happening with my friends outside. A friend is feeding and watering for me. I hope they're all okay.
Wish you a speedy recovery, Lee!
Good to see you all!
Sorry about the ankle, Lee! Is there an interesting story behind how it was broken?
